| Entry 1 Item 1 : Poem
Health is our most precious wealth, I hope you agree No doubt, health is the sweetest fruit of our life’s tree. Money is certainly important, and so is social prestige But it is a good health that is the source of a constant bliss. You may have the money to tour the world, but can’t if your health does not permit You can buy all the food of the world, but your bad health will not let you eat. You might have huge honor in the city, with everybody bowing before you But you will fail to enjoy it, if you regularly develop health problems new. In this way the bad health will always play a serious bar In the way of your enjoying what you have, wealth, house or car. On the other hand the good health is a source of constant happines That will automatically turn your life into one of charm, pleasure and grace. Item 2: Story
A Good Story for Great Friends
There once was a little girl who had a bad temper.
Her mother gave her a bag of nails and told her that every time she lost her temper, she must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day the girl had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as she learned to control her anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. She discovered it was easier to hold her temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the girl didn't lose her temper at all.
She told her mother about it and the mother suggested that the girl now pull out one nail for each day that she was able to hold her temper. The days passed and the young girl was finally able to tell her mother that all the nails were gone.
The mother took her daughter by the hand and led her to the fence. She said, "You have done well, my daughter, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one."
You can hurt a person and it won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
Rhetorical devices:
Simile: Holes in the fence like scars of your friends when you saying things in anger to them.
A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
It was easier to hold her temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Message: Remember not to lose temper at any time of your life. Be calm and polite to your friends. The reason is that when you have a bad temper and say things in anger to a person, you can hurt him. Although “How many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there.”
Item 3: Cartoon
Rhetorical devices:
Ø Metaphor:
· The bear:having awareness of protecting environment by putting litter into the garbage.
· The man:not having awareness of protecting environment. He is indiffent when seeing litter in the forest.
· The animals also have a sense of environmental protection while human beings does not.
Message:Human beings should be more aware of environmental protection. One of the activities contributing to environmental protection is to put litter into prescribed places.

Your entry is very interesting and i appreciate it; however, i still have some suggestions:
Trả lờiXóa- Item 1:
+ End-rhyme:
Health is our most precious wealth, I hope you agree
No doubt, health is the sweetest fruit of our life’s tree.
Money is certainly important, and so is social prestige
But it is a good health that is the source of a constant bliss.
You may have the money to tour the world, but can’t if your health does not permit
You can buy all the food of the world, but your bad health will not let you eat.
You might have huge honor in the city, with everybody bowing before you
But you will fail to enjoy it, if you regularly develop health problems new.
In this way the bad health will always play a serious bar
In the way of your enjoying what you have, wealth, house or car.
On the other hand the good health is a source of constant happines
That will automatically turn your life into one of charm, pleasure and grace.
Take good care of your health, and develop a body that is sound and strong
And ensure a life that is happy and charming, besides being long.
+ And the content of message in Item 1 is quite good, but you make a mistake about dictation (happy), I hope that you will pay more attention to it.
I really like your entry; however, I have some comments
Trả lờiXóaTerm 3: I think the picture have another message. Human beings is better than animals because we have knowledge; the bear has awareness of protecting environment; why don't we?
Your enrty is quite good. I appreciate it in many points such as:the story (item 2) is meaningful, the picture (item 3) is interesting, etc. However, you can consult my following ideas to improve your work:
Trả lờiXóa+,Item 1: I think in the poem, it isn't paradox because the lines of poetry are support for the same idea.
+,Item 2: After reading this story, I myself learn a lesson: to do something effectively, we should have a suitable method
+,Item 3: I totally agree with you
in the second item, metaphor is also one of the rhetorical devices: nails are bad behaviors to other people, and fence is people's soul. When you treat anyone badly, you will leave a pain in their soul.
Trả lờiXóaGood job! I think you were well-prepared for this entry. However, I have for the third item, i disagree with you that metaphor is used for the case of the bear. I want to ask you for whom does the bear stand? I think the rhetorical device here is irony.
